The arrangements related to the scholarship extension of 2025 for Ph.D. students are notified as follows：

I.Eligibility requirements

1.Ph.D. students withChinese Government Scholarshipwhoareoriginally expected to graduate in July 2025（including those whoareexpected to graduate in January 2026）but intend to apply for an extension of the scholarship.

2.The applicant must have completed their student status extension at their respective department/school.

3.The applicant is required to have passed their comprehensive examination and completedtheir thesis proposal.

4.The applicant is required to have passed the Chinese Government Scholarship annual evaluation.

II.Application Procedure

Application Form are requested to be submitted to Room 328 of the International Students Division before April 26, 2025 (excluding weekends). Late submissions will not be accepted.

III.Other instructions

1.Ph.D. studentswithChinese Government Scholarship can only apply fortheextension once during their study period.The extension period can beone semester orone academic year.Students who have already received scholarship extension cannot apply again.

2.The result of the scholarship extension is subject to the final approval of the China Scholarship Council.

3.Starting from the academic year 2025, Ph.D. students who have received scholarship extension support will no longer be arranged for accommodation in Zhongguanyuan Global Village by theuniversity. Students can apply for accommodation in the student apartments of Changping New Campus or choose to apply for a monetary subsidy for scholarship accommodation.
